I have an ECT that works part-time. How long is his/her induction period?
The part-time induction period is worked out pro-rata. If you let us know the contracted hours (e.g. 0.6 or 0.4) we will work out the length of the induction period and give you bespoke assessment deadlines to work towards.

What if I have an ECT starting part way through the academic year?
When registering your ECT please let us know their start date for induction. ECT Manager will automatically work out their assessment deadlines based upon their start date and we will alert you to these. A full time induction under ECF is usually 2 academic years and 6 terms of induction so an ECT starting in September 2021 will complete their induction in July 2023
