Evidence requirements for induction completion

Does my ECT have to upload their evidence on ECT Manager?

Yes there is an expectation that ECTs upload their evidence to their documents folder on ECT Manager throughout their induction. This evidence is then available for the AB to review along with the ECT Mentor, Induction Tutor and Headteacher.

It is essential that all evidence is available ahead of Progress Reviews and Formal Assessment as this is required by our AB Partner in order to make judgement on performance against the Teachers' Standards.

Final Assessment recommendations will not be able to be validated by the Arthur Terry TSH without full evidence being uploaded to ECT Manager.

How much evidence should an ECT collate?

Our suggestion is to collate a minimum of 3 pieces of high-quality evidence per Standard over the whole Induction period so that's 24 pieces for Part One of the Standards and 3 pieces for Part Two.
