My ECT is leaving part-way through the year, what do I do?
Where an ECT leaves before completion of the induction period (whether they have chosen to leave or they were on a short-term contract) you should have a formal meeting with the ECT to review their performance and complete an Interim Assessment Form. This is especially important where an ECT has experienced difficulties. The meeting should leave them with a clear understanding of their strengths and areas for improvement as well as the process for continuing their induction in their next eligible school.

The ECT should also download from ECT Manager copies of all Assessment Forms and evidence gathered through their induction within your school to share with their next school and their next school's AB partner.
